the Pink Lady!!
Introducing my new Charter Arms .38 Special "Pink Lady" model revolver. That's right... Brenda's gonna be packin' heat!
It was an interesting experience being in a 'real' gun store today. Foreign to us Canadians. It was both liberating and exhilarating. Dwayne very much believes in the right to bear arms. I told him I'd agree to having one as long as it was pink. :) Of course, he'll be teaching me how to properly use it and bringing me to a gun range.
Some new sights for me...
Here's Dwayne filling out the paperwork for the background check, which is done on the spot by a phone call. Less than 10 minutes and we walked out with our gun. Amazing! I kinda feel like I got away with something. A different world down here!
The store was full of all sorts of mounted animals, including a monkey, turkeys, mountain lion, ducks, deer, elk, leopard, etc. Definitely not a place for any animal rights activist.
